WHERE IS THE HOPE?
Living with life long pain with no cure
About me
Hi, I'm Beatriz—a proud advocate for finding strength in the face of invisible battles & passionate about mental health.
I was diagnosed with Axial Spondyloarthritis (AxialSpa) at the age of 16, a chronic condition that has challenged my body, mind, and spirit in more ways than I ever imagined.
But through it all, I’ve discovered not just resilience but a deep calling to support others walking a similar path.
This space isn’t just about pain—it's about hope, healing, and honesty. It's where I share my journey, both the raw and the uplifting, in the hope that no one feels alone in their fight.

I'm proud to have been part of the NASS (National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society) campaign!

Faces of Axial SpA
Our Purpose
Where is the Hope?—a space to share my journey, connect with others, and raise awareness about axial SpA and other invisible illnesses.
For over a decade, axial SpA has been a part of my life’s narrative, shaping my perspective and instilling within me a deep sense of empathy and resilience.
Now, I want to use my story to help others who feel just as lost as I once did—and sometimes still do.
If you’re living with axial SpA or any invisible illness, you are not alone.
My goal is to create a space where we can talk openly about our experiences, provide support, and raise awareness. I’ll be sharing content—whether it’s about managing the emotions that come with chronic illness, advocating for yourself in the medical system, or simply finding hope in the everyday.
If you’ve experienced something similar or know someone who has, I’d love to hear your story and connect with you.
Together, we can create change, support one another, and remind each other that hope is always there
